Many thanks to Carmen for generously providing me with photos of her pride and joy.
This was so much fun to work on , the background is an exercise in different materials and techniques for emulation, but mostly, these pups just make me smile.

I wrapped this up the other night, the original sketch was from May 2003.This is an image that appeared in my mind when I came out of a surgery. My interpretation is that it represents my second chakra, the area of the surgery, there was a vast dark space around the central energy- going off into infinity.
